I am looking at purchasing a dummy in the near future, but with so many designed out there I am looking for some advise on which model and where to purchase a quality dummy at a reasonable price from.

Different models I have encountered include:

Flat dummies, Free standing dummies, Traditional wall mounted dummies, Reaction dummies, the martial arm, etc.

Can any body help with the pros and cons of each dummy?

Any guidence would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance.

Lee

Did you get any good advice on this or find what you wanted?
if so, where?

The main response I seemed to get was that the best dummy would be a traditional wall mounted live dummy. LIke the ones from pagoda imports.

I still haven't actually purchased one as yet as you can imagine finding the funds nowadays is a tad hard.

My advice is to shop around and see what you can find.

The Pagoda one do seem to be one of the best I've come across, you can find plans to make your own, but the trouble I have found is locating a log/ pole for the main body.
