We have a great new Dit Da Jow in stock at Crouching Tiger

http://www.crouchingtiger.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=182

We have tried various sources and recipes for Jow over the last few years, some direct from Hong Kong and China, but have had the best success ever with this Jow we import from a martial arts instructor and herbalist in Alabama USA.

There are a variety of dit da jow formulas available on the market today. The quality of Plum Dragon dit da jow speaks for itself. Here are a few reasons that might compel you to give it a try:

  • Cure Time - Many products on the market are mixed and only stored long enough to make them usable. Plum Dragon dit da jow is consistently mixed and stored for many many months. Our average bottle of jow has been aging from 6-12 months (some of our jow is 5 years old), in dark and is still agitated daily. Each bottle comes with a hand written cure date on the label so you know exactly when your jow was mixed. Furthermore, when we bottle jow, we allow some herbs to make their way into each individual bottle so that your liniment continues to age and gain potency every day that you have it! Between underkill and overkill--We'll go with overkill!

  • Herbs Used- All of our herbs are inspected whole to ensure they are the proper species and are of the utmost quality. We work closely with wholesalers to ensure that we have fresh herbs in stock for several recipes. With exact detail, the herbs are then mixed with attention to quantity and traditional order.

  • No Plastic - Many products on the market are made, stored, and bottle in plastic bottles. The base liquid in dit da jow can easily break down the fragile plastic material and pollute your liniment with toxic material that should not be there. Plum Dragon jow recipes are mixed, stored, and sold to you, in all glass bottles and jars that are safer for you as a consumer.

  • Dropper - This has become a popular facet of Plum Dragon products. Each bottle of Plum Dragon dit da jow comes with a dropper for easy application; no more spills or messes. Because of its liquid nature, you'll wonder how you ever applied dit da jow without one!

  • Customer Service- As a small organization, we at Crouching Tiger, along with Plum Dragon Ventures have the time, patience, and overall ability to offer answers to your questions in a quite timely fashion. This also means we ship all small orders via 2-day priority mail, usually the same day you order. Furthermore, many companies that sell dit da jow struggle with politics and propaganda surrounding the alledged "secrecy" of their jow. We have no secrets and have no problem discussing herbal information with you.

If you take your wall bag training seriously, it is essential you invest in a good jow. Give it a whirl!! Order on line, see me at training, call Sifu Tony at the shop on 01702 354 701, or pop in to 697 London Road Westcliff on Sea.

I bought some last month when i decided to start using my wallbag properly.

At the moment im only using the bag once twice a week tops. Primarily because of the time factor with modern living etc and secondly because ive been getting sore wrists and hands. I think that as with a lot of people i have a heavy punch/strike which is all well and good when your wearing gloves and wraps but can make real striking a little difficult. Anyway i am toning down the power a little and it doesnt hurt so much.

I have found that using the Dit Da Jow has been excellent,  mainly because it ensures that i give my hands the massage and stretch that they need after a hard session. It has definately been a good investment everyone has said that the massage is really important, the Jow has ensured that i do a good long massage and that i dont skip this important aspec of the training.

I am soon to start using the wall bag and will aim to train at home on it so as it is now a fair period since last post on this, is this still the recommended best product?
If so i will try to drop by the shop next week.

Hi BLK09

There have been some improvements to the recipe, but we are still stocking this excellent product and it is still our most popular jow! Crouching Tiger has moved from London Road to new premises at 77 Hamlet Court Road (not far away from the old place) but the phone number is still the same 01702 354701
